Docflow is designed to efficiently process incoming invoices through various channels, including email. To ensure smooth processing, it is important to follow the Email Checklist below.
Email Checklist
1. Email Size Limit (39 MB)
- Issue: The total email size exceeds 39 MB.
- Resolution: Remove some attachments or reduce their file size.
2. Missing Attachments
- Issue: The email does not contain any attachments.
- Resolution: Make sure the email includes at least one valid attachment.
3. Number of Attachments (Maximum 40)
- Issue: The email contains more than 40 attachments.
- Resolution: Remove some attachments to meet the allowed limit.
4. Allowed Invoice File Types
Supported invoice file types: tif, tiff, pdf
- Issue: The invoice file type is not supported.
- Resolution: Convert the invoice to one of the supported formats.
5. Allowed Attachment File Types
Supported attachment file types: txt, xlsx, xls, docx, png, jpg, jpeg, gif, csv, xml, bin, htm, html, p7s, msg
- Issue: The attachment format is not supported.
- Resolution: Convert the file to an approved format before sending.
6. Multiple Invoices and Attachments
- Issue: Multiple invoices and attachments are sent in one email.
- Resolution: Send only one invoice with its corresponding attachments per email.
7. Password-Protected Attachments
- Issue: The attachment is password protected.
- Resolution: Remove the password protection before sending.

8. Other Issues
- Issue: You are still receiving error messages.

Note: Emails that do not meet these requirements may be delayed or rejected during processing.
