SEMINE validates the secondary email field when creating or editing a user. If the entered email does not meet validation rules, you will see an error message and will not be able to save the changes.

Validation Rules
a) Secondary email must be different from the primary email
If you enter the same email address as the user's primary email in the Secondary email field, you will see the following error and you need to fix this to save:
"The secondary email must be different from the primary email."
What to do:
Enter a different email address that is not the same as the user's primary email.
b) Secondary email cannot be used by another user
If the email address entered is already registered as a primary email for another user in SEMINE, the following error will be shown and you need to fix the email before you can save changes:
"Sorry, but this email address is already used by someone else, and can therefore not be used as secondary email."
What to do:
Use an email address that is not already used as a primary email by another user, then save the changes.
