When you gain access to SEMINE, the administrator in your company will send login details, and you will receive a welcome email from SEMINE.
First-time login
The first time you log in to SEMINE, you will be prompted to create a new password. The password must meet the requirements shown on the password setup page.
Tips for creating a strong password:
- Avoid using easily guessed words or personal information.
- Use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Do not reuse passwords from other websites.
- Use a unique password for SEMINE.
Password Reset / Forgot Password
For security reasons, passwords in SEMINE may expire after a period of time. When this happens, you will be asked to create a new password.
If you have forgotten your password, select Forgot password on the login page. SEMINE will send an email with instructions to create a new password.
The email you receive will look similar to this:
If you click Click to change password and the link opens in an unsupported browser (for example Safari), you can copy the link and open it in another supported browser.
SEMINE is supported in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers.
Then you can enter the new password, confirm it, and click on Set Password.
Once your password is approved, you will get a confirmation message on the screen. Click on Go to Semine Login to log in using your new password
Known error messages during login
1. "ValidationError_Required"
You have not entered a value in the field. Enter your username or email.
2. "Invalid username or password"
The username or password is incorrect. Verify that you are using the correct email address and try entering the password again.
3. "Password validation failed"
The password does not meet the required security rules. Try creating a stronger password.
Avoid using restricted words or combinations such as: "semine", "bilagos", "1234", "876", "test", "admin", "administrator", "passord", "password", or "temp".
4. "Token for password reset has expired. Please request a new one"
The password reset link has expired. Select Try again, enter your email address, and request a new reset email.
Logging out of SEMINE
To log out of SEMINE, open your user profile and select Log out.
When you log out, SEMINE ends the active session associated with your user. This means your current session is cleared and you will need to sign in again to access the system.
Log out from all systems
During logout, you may see an option to log out from all connected systems. This will sign you out not only from SEMINE, but also from other services connected through Single Sign-On (SSO).
