Turn off automatic workflow evaluation
This setting makes the workflow not reevaluate for each action performed on an invoice where the workflow is applied.
For example
- In the invoice line, the dimension Project has been set to Project A, triggering a workflow for this project.
- A user changes the project to Project B.
- Automatic evaluation active
If automatic evaluation is enabled, the conditions in the workflow will be reassessed for each action.
In the example, this means the workflow for Project B will start if it exists. - Automatic evaluation inactive
If automatic evaluation is not enabled, the conditions in the workflow will not be reassessed for each action.
In the example, this means the workflow for Project A will remain active on the invoice and continue as usual.
It is still possible to reevaluate the conditions in the workflow at any time by choosing "Restart workflows."
