The Parameter plan is a set of predefined accounting parameters that can be assigned to specific clients.
It is used in multi-client environments where organization-level parameters are inherited by all clients by default. If some clients require a different configuration, a Parameter plan can be created and assigned to those clients.
When a Parameter plan is assigned to a client, the client inherits the accounting parameters defined in that plan. These parameters override the organization-level parameters for the selected client.
Parameter plans make it possible to:
- Assign different parameter configurations to selected clients within the same organization
- Apply client-specific settings without changing the organization-level configuration
You can find Parameter plans in the following location: Settings → Organizational settings → Parameter plan

Parameter plans in Accounting parameters
To view this, go to Settings → Client settings → Accounting parameters.
After a Parameter plan is created and assigned to clients, it becomes visible in the Accounting parameters section for those clients.
Accounting parameters and their values are created and maintained through API or backend configuration.

Example use case
If most clients should use the organization-level configuration, but one or more clients require a different setup, a Parameter plan can be created and assigned to those clients.
